Thrilled
Ever since I first learned of Samantha Robinson's ceramics, I have loved her work. I love the patterns, designs and colours. While R was away in Australia he stopped by Husk and bought me these two cups. I love them and hope you like them too!

Primrose and Plum
We have a lovely family friend staying with us. It is a shame that the weather has turned so very grey. So I thought I would briefly pop a post on about this rather stylish lemon and grey blanket. For more finds visit Primrose and Plum.

Signs of Spring
Even though I am not getting enough sleep, not sure why not? I love waking up to sun kissed mornings. We have blue skies and just walking down our road the signs of Springtime are evident. Today we are off to the garden centre to get some plants and pots. Truth be told I am a fair weather gardener, but each year the green finger bug grows. My wish list is all about roses and lavender.

Day of Rest
It has been a busy week, our worktop and sink are in and is much appreciated. Never again will I take my sink for granted again, we were without one for the best part of six weeks. Anyway last weekend we celebrated LV's six with her friends and family. The Balloons adding the birthday touch to the decorations, although it felt that it was the grand opening of the kitchen. I have been sneaking in time to fill my muji books, listen to Charlotte's new album (JR), and drink my latest addiction this water's Lemon and Lime.

Wishlist
Rockett St George is one of my favourite online stores. They have even managed to persuade me to think about getting some artificial flowers! There is a couple of dark corners in our house (landing areas) that could be brightened up with a few flower displays. Also my thing for gnomes is not passing, so I am about to order one to place on my desk or kitchen window. As for animals in clothes, ever since Barber I cannot shake this love either. If you have some birthdays coming up, I recommend a visit.

Reflection
The last few months has been a whirlwind. The come down of the chaos of the kitchen refurb has left me feeling run down and drained. Breathe, deep and focused. During this season of lent, I am slowing it all down, to reflect and manage my expectations. (Thanks to JR for the email forward) So forgive, if my posts are few and random. The thing that I am enjoying is getting back into taking photos again. Today, I only manage to snap this lovely treats in elegant packaging. I like the idea of designing packaging...

SIX today
Our Eldest is six today. Happy Birthday LV, we love you more than you could ever know. When I look at you, my mind takes me to the days when you were a mere baby and then in an instant it races forward to what I can only dream, hope and imagine for you in the years ahead. May you grow in grace, wisdom, kindness, compassion and with a deep sense of being loved and cherished. As your mum, I hope that I will grow in grace, kindness, acceptance and be brave enough to learn from you, trust you and let you follow your heart. (secretly I would love to wrap you in cotton wool and protect you as best I can).
