Random Wednesday

Welcome along to random Wednesday.  My last day with the girls and then back into the busy days of school life.  Tomorrow the house will be quite, the day will feel like something is missing and slow days will be reserved for the weekend.

Random Monday

Random Monday is all about my girls and our lovely village.  With the open houses keeping me busy, I felt like I hardly saw our girls.  The weekend went really well and I loved it, I got more sleep than last year and so it meant that I was less overwhelmed.  If you are wondering if you should exhibit your work or join a open house, I really recommend it.  The feedback, genuine support and encouragement has spurred me onto wanting to show and sell my work in different locations.

Bateman's National Trust

Yesterday we made the most of the dry and sunny weather and visited Bateman's National Trust House and gardens.  The highlight for me was spying the chickens sitting on a branch.

Random Wednesday

Two days of sun kissed bliss, catching up with friends, taking some outdoor shots and planning images for the forthcoming Brighton Open Houses.  How is your week looking?

Rottingdean Beach

We had a truly lovely half term.  It was great that the last few days were dry and sun kissed!  On Saturday we had friends visit from London and we popped down to Rottingdean Beach.  Hope that you had a lovely week.

Random Sunday

A few shots over the last two weeks in order to make the most of glimpses of winter sunlight.  There is something that alights in me when the sun comes out especially on cold grey days.  Usually I am not very good at keeping a diary, if remembered I may jot something down on the calendar.  However in January I put a few pre arranged dates in as I find it such an adjustment month, new year, new goals, new term etc, that I need a few bits to look forward to.

Autumn Trail

The last two days have been fairly grey, so my still life shoots have been on hold.  I seized the opportunity to shoot some autumn scenes.  I read an amazing article about autumn days photography.  As  a light lover, I have struggled to feel inspired about the lack of it.  So I am putting a few ideas together to embrace shooting during this season.
