After the manic season of open houses, exhibitions and working on a couple of commissions, it left me shattered. Truth be told I felt like I had photographers block. So after putting my camera away (lasted a week)! I decided to return to photographing, but out of my love for it rather than working for an audience. These blackberries, echo how a versatile fruit can be found in such a thorny setting. When blackberry picking, you are careful, of thorns and staining and often can be foraged. I have a weakness for found things, for consideration and simplicity. This pin has fast become my mantra 'live less out of habit and more out of intent.'

Summer Holiday Begins
This is how we started the first day of the six week holiday in Chorleywood with our dear friends visiting from Toronto. The garden was such a stunning space to chill, play and snap some photos. Hope that you are off to an amazing start to the summer. Love that the weather has been so good to us. For those who follow me on Instagram you will see that we had fun camping and returned safe and sound.
