Seven Sisters

We finally visited Seven Sisters in Sussex (40 minute drive from our home).  We loved the breath taking views, it felt like a true mini adventure!

Natural History Museum

Last Monday we started the half term holidays with a visit to the Natural History Museum.  It was thrilling, busy and an adventure for our girls.  Here are a few snaps from the day, loved these places to eat as well.

Resume

Last week was half term for us in Sussex, it flew by.  Happy days out, lazy mornings, relaxing and making the most of our family time.  I will post some of our out and about photos next week.  Hope to catch up on my blog reading list this week, feeling a little out of touch!

Random Friday

Really craving being outside; more gardening, more mini adventures, and more outdoor shots.  Making use of our local library, planning L's eighth birthday.  Plants for the girls bedroom.  It is supposed to be a lovely weekend in the UK, how are you starting your weekend?

Vitamin C

Working our way through sources of vitamin C's!  Fighting a cold, as next week is our school holidays.
These shots were left over from my kiwi still life a few weeks back.  So behind on shooting, but C is now sleeping so much better, so this week, I feel more human, but needed to focus on arranging a few fun things for L's pending 8th birthday!  Given anything up for lent?

Over the weekend I went through my photography folder and selected these four as possible square crops.  What do you think?  Sadly we didn't make it into London, as our girls were longing for a home day.  How was your weekend spent?

Random Friday

The first four images were taken at my neighbour's house yesterday, the other two at my this morning.  We are popping into London tomorrow, (weather permitting), so hoping to snap away there.  Have a lovely weekend.

Feeling Spring

Excited that the sun is appearing more regularly than the previous month.  On the way home from the school run yesterday, we stopped to purchase some daffodils.  This affordable and simple flower has transformed the kitchen table and whispers hints that spring is on it's way.  

Happy Monday

We had a lovely relaxing weekend, we planned a windy/chilly trip to Devils Dyke. My intention was to make the most the of the sunlight on Saturday, only to arrive at the destination and discover that my memory card was left at home!  I had a sick feeling for about 10 mins, but got over it when the girls ran off without a care in the world.  Not so much sun today, but had to snap my favourite fruit!  How is your week shaping up?

Made me laugh

This is L gate crashing C's portrait shot.  It made me laugh and bought a smile to the elderly lady seated at the nearby bench!
