Distraction Play!

This afternoon with its grey and wet weather, brought us indoors to a log fire and sorting through my mood-books, drawing and colouring.  Must note that R preserved in the garden and continued to plant away!

Mouses Back

Our small spare room has been decorated and carpeted, looking forward to adding some finishing touches.  We opted for a dark farrow and ball colour, even though the room is small single room.  We love the results and has already been used by our lovely overnight guest L!

Remembering

Trying to find something to photograph as it is week two of being housebound, but not complaining as I am grateful for many things.  Currently pondering the lives of those that touch ours to inspire, challenge, encourage and affirm.  MC, so gutted.

Thank you for your kind comments and for the new followers that have joined.  I really appreciated it, especially over this last week of not really getting out or having very little energy.  These shots of L & C were taken in the lobby of our hotel.  I am grateful that my knee gave in after our holiday.

Window Table

Still not very mobile, but over the weekend we did manage to leave the house.  We started Sunday at 8.00am with a visit to the hospital to have my MRI scan.  Then we had a lovely family lunch with R's parents and siblings.  I love this kitchen window area in my parents in law's home.

Beach Time in Crete

It is safe to say that I was a little obsessed with these sun-loungers.  We enjoyed the fact that the beach was minutes from our hotel.  Though the sun was shining we choose to paddle and not swim!
