Welcoming Autumn

My girls have learnt the art of photo bombing.  Over the weekend we loved our autumn walks, visiting the ibrary, joining in on the big draw and seeing Nick Mulvey play on Monday night.

Golden Hour Randoms

Over the last few weeks, my eldest daughter has struggled with settling into year five at school.  It is the first time they have mixed up their classes and even though we know that this will happen in two years time when she goes to secondary school, the adjustment has been too much for her.  My days are filled with raw emotions, frustration and growing pains.  My heart goes out to her, I'm hoping that she will know our unconditional love, hope and the equipping of tools to get through this stage.  The weight of this, has kept me occupied on so many levels, hence the lack of posts and photos.  But we are dealing with this daily and it is getting easier.  Please bear with me!
Anyhow here are a selection of golden hour shots, as we have pockets of sun amidst the grey and rainy days.

Undecided

Currently still adding to my flora still life series, my obsession with Dahlias keep inspiring me.  However I am undecided with which image I prefer, out of the four images I favour two of them.  Which one would you pick to print off?

Random Thursday at Home

This week I have been poorly with a hideous cough that has really disturbed my sleep.  So I have had the slowest week ever, but satisfying as I have accepted that I can only do what I can do.  Some weeks I lose myself in trying to do so much and spreading myself way too thin.  This week I can honestly say that some things just didn't get done!

L Portrait Practice

As the girls get older, they truly limit how many minutes or shots I can take.  I pursued L to pose for me as over the coming weekend I have been asked to take some portrait shots for my in-laws 50th Wedding Anniversary.  The light was so special today that it filled my bedroom with very dreamy tones.  Hope that the weather stays this good for the weekend.

Gathered Style

Over the last few weeks I have been meaning to join in with the lovely Emma's weekly gathered style feature on Instagram.  Here is my attempt, with some found pebbles on Hove beach and some linen finds in our local charity shop.

Random Wednesday

Welcome along to random Wednesday.  My last day with the girls and then back into the busy days of school life.  Tomorrow the house will be quite, the day will feel like something is missing and slow days will be reserved for the weekend.
