Still Life - Ingredients

After a busy Sunday, the grandparents joined us to celebrate L's birthday.  C woke a little tried and tearful, so it made sense to keep her home with me.  After three hours, it was apparent that she was fine and didn't want me to be distracted by my list of to do's!  So after playing 'mum's' and making badges, I sneaked in a few photos.

  1. These look like paintings - scrumptious! And the post about your daughter was just beautiful - children's spirit always shines through so amazingly in photos because they have none of that 'I wonder if this is my best angle' thought going on! Hope you are really well and having a great week!

  2. I've fallen prey to the child who makes a miraculous recovery as soon as the school nurse has been telephoned. It's actually rather nice to have a day with just one child, once in a while. I hope she's all better now!
