Friday 29th April- we made the most of the long weekend courtesy of Will and Kate and kick started it with a Street Party. Loved seeing young and old finding things in common, the children running up and down and in and out of houses, and loving the sense of community and celebration.

ReplyDeleteI painted the cans with left over farrow and ball and dulux sample pots, now being used as pen pots! I think I mentioned that I couldn't bring myself to paint the post red, white and blue.
ReplyDeleteKnickers, were a cheap selection pack from Tescos, Sally the woman behind the idea, totally embarrassed her teenage sons! Nevertheless she won the best decorated house prize.
