Hope that you had a lovely weekend? We had a chance to catch up on some house errands and still trying to make a decision on our radiators. The house is slowing descending into chaos, the plastering and decorating the living room, is going to take longer than planned, so pictures, books, some furniture have to be stored in the hallway and kitchen. At least we will be finished by Christmas! Shot these figs, distraction is warmly welcomed, in the midst of the mess.
Great distraction and from your photo's who would know what was happening behingd the scenes.
ReplyDeleteYes, you have hit the nail on the head, who would know?! I was truly hiding out in my pocket of calm.

Your photos give an impression of an oasis of calm!! We have had four delicious figs from our little tree this year - one more than last year ...
ReplyDeleteThank you, my husband cannot believe my ability to find a little corner to hide out and just pretend that it will all sort itself. It's the electrical planning that throws me! I will get there, but as my plasterer pointed out, I brought it on myself! D xx
DeletePopped in to visit a friend today who was most disgruntled that her plum tree, produced one plum and thought of you! Dxx
DeleteLove figs. We have a fig tree that leans into our garden from a neighbouring property but I don't think they know it is there, sad really. Do you find that even the simplest of house renovation causes havoc. I am planning my bathroom revamp and I just wish I had a fairy godmother who would wave her wand and fix it for me.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed that your bathroom revamp, would go smoothly. D x
